Performance

In 2019 I graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance having built an extensive performing experience of solo, recital, chamber and orchestral repertoire under the tutelage of Diana Cummings. My studies have also taken me to the International Academy of Musical Excellence leading to performances in Graz and Vienna.

Chamber music has always been very close to my heart. In 2016 I took part in a chamber music project - Maconchy & Friends: 20th Century British Female Composers - championing the work of an almost forgotten generation of composers who were women. Having found that their music is so often unfairly neglected I've worked hard to support the music of women composers, organising lectures, concerts and events to introduce their music to new audiences.

With a keen interest in the performance of new music by contemporary composers, I have performed in recordings with Trinity Laban Contemporary Music Group; premiered experimental work in Trinity Laban's Rude Health festival; and played in dedicated concerts of new music for small ensemble.

My orchestral training at Trinity Laban included symphonic repertoire, side-by-side projects with players from professional orchestras, leadership opportunities, contemporary music and repertoire for smaller ensembles. In 2017 I joined Hector Berlioz European Youth Orchestra conducted by François-Xavier Roth, playing on period instruments with musicians from Les Siècles. I've also played in Kensington Chamber Orchestra, Janus Ensemble and I will never forget the joyful experience of growing up in and leading Hampshire County Youth Orchestra.
